I quote: 'possibly assuming that Hezi Halevi already knew of it.' This is beyond unbelievable...from when is 'assuming' part of military protocol. We already know what 'assume' means...i would never have expected such a statement from anyone...especially a high up Military Officer.
07/12/1941, a day that will live in infamy, woke up the sleeping giant; 3 days later, in the first of his colossal errors, AH declared war on the U.S., which guaranteed America’s entry into the European War and led to the destruction of Germany. Looking at the arrogance, incompetence and fauda of Israel’s military and political class, Oct. 7 may have saved Israel’s existence or caused the nuclear destruction by Israel of all the surrounding Arab States, Iran and perhaps NATO member, Türkiye. Imagine if a coordinated attack had been launched also by Hezbollah (on the 7th, not the 8th), Syria, Iran launching all of its drones and ballistic missiles, Iraq’s proxie forces, perhaps Egypt (some say Egypt’s militarization of the Sinai presages its intention to go to war with Israel), Yemen launching all of its ballistic missiles and the PA launching a Hamas-like war from YESH against an Israel only 9 miles wide at its waist. 50 years after Oct. 6, 1973, Israel slept again, this time because it thought the Gazans earned substantial money in Israel and Hamas was busy running Gaza and Hamas knew what Gaza would look like if it attacked Israel. What Israel didn’t get, was that Hamas didn’t care how many cities or neighborhoods would be destroyed or how many Gazans would be killed. The cockroaches DID NOT CARE. Their goal was to torture and murder the Yahudi, to strangle Jewish babies and rape Jewish women; to enrage Israel to fight a war that would be denounced by the usual suspects, and make Israelis feel unsafe because their govt. couldn’t protect them; to damage the Yahudis’ psyches and perhaps convince many Israelis to emigrate. This is a religious war, which cannot be settled by worthless agreements and treaties with psychotic and psychopathic cockroaches. To end the alleged Israel-“Palestinian” conflict requires the expulsion of all Gazans and the expulsion (first voluntary then forced) of the so-called Palestinians of the so-called “West Bank” (which was conquered by the Arab Legion, commanded by British Major John “Pasha” Glubb in 1948-9 which led Transjordan to drop the “trans” from its name). YESH, which is what my old Hammond Atlas called the area, would be incorporated into Israel. For good measure, Israel’s northern border ought to extend to the Litani river, a natural border. URWA was founded not to resettle refugees; it was founded to keep a hostile revanchist population on Israel’s borders in perpetuity or until Israel collapsed or was defeated in war. In the middle of June, 1967, an American Ambassador wrote to McGeorge Bundy, LBJ’s security chief with his idea for dealing with the alleged “refugees” in the so-called West Bank. I have the document - that I discovered in the LBJ Library in Austin. That would have ended the “Palestinian” delusion and danger to the neighborhood. What the letter said, I shall reveal in an essay to be submitted elsewhere, soon.
Dear Barry

Excellent article.
Thank You Barry,
